There are now two refinements for Connecticut opinions, including the new refinement and a Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Opinions refinement. After you do a keyword search, tabs (refinements) above the results should appear. You can click on these tabs to filter your results. One thing to remember is that if you clicked on a refinement and then do a new keyword search, you will only be searching within that refinement. According to the custom search blog, the autocompleted queries are generated from content on the websites included in the custom search engine. In other words, the autocompletions are customized for each search engine. Very nice! Here's a screenshot:
